I Can’t Shoot My Way.

I go to the Scottish highlands on the 15th for a long weekend to photograph the Cairngorms, but the 90mm I bought, pretty much especially for the trip doesn’t work properly. For some reason at 1/2 and whole second exposure settings it catches and sticks open for an unpredictable amount of time, at an 8th of a second and faster it’s accurate; as accurate as I can tell anyway.

When I set the shutter to Time, it squeaks, compared to my 135mm it doesn’t sound healthy, but I’ll have to persevere and get it repaired after the trip and hope not exposing my scenes in multiple exposures results in overly contrasty negatives.

To be honest, I’m disappointed in where I bought it from and I won’t bother with them again, stick to who gives good results.
